Navarathri Celebrations
The Golu celebration at school is marked by beautifully arranged dolls that reflect culture, tradition, and devotion. Students and teachers together enrich the occasion with songs, prayers, and cultural performances, spreading festive joy throughout the campus.
Saraswathi Poojai and Vijayadasami Celebrations
Saraswathi Pooja and Vijayadasami are celebrated in the school with devotion and enthusiasm. The community gathers to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi for wisdom and academic success.
Annual Medical Inspection
Annual medical inspection for students is organized every year by our school in partnership with Rotary Club of Madras, District 3234, Kanchi Kamakoti Child Trust Hospital, BHS Hospital and Yash Dental.
Children’s Day
Children’s Day is celebrated with great joy to honour Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme begins with a special assembly highlighting Nehruji’s love for children, followed by competitions organized to showcase the creativity and talent of the students. The day concludes with the message that children are the true essence of joy and hope for the future.
Christmas celebration
The spirit of Christmas fills the school with joy and cheer as a beautifully decorated Christmas tree welcomes everyone at the entrance. Students rejoice in the festive atmosphere while learning the true essence and significance of the festival. The celebration goes beyond religious boundaries, spreading happiness, love, and togetherness, reminding all of the beauty of unity in diversity.
Pongalo Pongal
Pongal, the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, is celebrated with great enthusiasm at our School. Students come dressed in colourful attire, adding charm to the occasion. The celebration includes speeches on the significance of Pongal, lively dance performances, and a live demonstration of Pongal preparation at the school. The prepared Pongal is offered in prayer and then joyfully distributed to all students, making the day both festive and meaningful.
Republic Day
Republic Day is celebrated with immense pride and enthusiasm. Every year, the National Flag is unfurled by the school topper of the Class XII Board examination. This honour is followed by a rendition of patriotic songs, stirring cultural performances, and a prize distribution ceremony.
Abishekam at Anjeneyar Temple
Before the commencement of the Board exam practicals, the school follows a cherished tradition of conducting an abishekam at the Anjeneyar temple. Students and teachers gather to seek blessings for success and focus during the examinations.
Farewell to class XII
A bittersweet farewell for the Class XII students is held every year. The management and teachers address the gathering with words of wisdom, followed by lively cultural performances by the juniors to bid their seniors a memorable goodbye.
Cervical Vaccination
Cervical vaccination for our school students was successfully conducted on 26th December 2024, with the second dose administered on 21st June 2025, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Chennai and with sponsorship from our school management. The students were vaccinated at Adyar Cancer Institute, ensuring their health and well-being.
